Johka means 'river' in Sami. I am of mixed ethnicity, and am proud of my ancestors, and their special histories.

I'm a registered nurse and mother of two wonderful children. My husband is owned by me! - for making us move to the mid-west. At least we have a horse now, in addition to the two dogs and two kitties!

I love to dance, and volunteer at a senior center once a week to show them how to boogie down! It's a blast!

I enjoy staying fit, healthy and active. I love animals, nature, the elderly, and children. (In that order. Not counting my family. They are first and foremost!)

Some of my hobbies and interests are: dance, history (especially of my ancestors), travel, word games, roller skating, swimming, horses, biology, philosophy, and art.

Favorite TV shows: LOST - So You Think You Can Dance - Survivor.
